<description>I recently had an appointment with one of the members of the Neuro. team that I see at the National Neurological Hospital in Russell Sq., London. I spoke about LDN to him and he asked in "what way, was I enquiring it could be used", I explained about it helping M.S. and he shook his head( that he had no knowledge of it being used this way), I mentioned that there was a Conference to be held in Glasgow this month concerning LDN, ( I must say at this point rather sheepishly! ). After my appointment I realised even more, just how important it is for the Doctors and Neurologists to hear about LDN from the other Medical Proffessionals, as I am in no way at this point, able to speak for LDN and its amazing positive effects when it comes to places such as the National Neuroloical Hosp. and trained and qualified members of the Medical proffession. Let us hope this conference will be the start of an accepted new school of thought, and eventual trials and licensing of LDN in the U.K.
Kind Regards,
Kim</description>

<description>I am trying to get the doctors at our practice interested enough to have at least one doctor attend the conference. I am having no success at all.

Would it be possible to do a "Mail-Shot" to doctors practices?

Whenever I try to speak to a doctor re LDN, the standard response I get is a patronising smile and some meaningless platitude about how they are so glad that my wife is "gaining some relief".

I am an engineer, not a doctor, so I can understand (to a degree) why doctors react in this way.

However, if the practice was to be contacted by another doctor and/or pharmacist, it may get some genuine attention.

I am looking forward to the conference.

<description>Are there any press packs being put together to promote this conference and if so, will they be available on the website for people to download and use?

As the conference wants to attract as many Drs as possible, can I ask how this is going to be achieved? For example, as cancer is being covered in the agenda, are cancer hospitals being contacted to let them know about the conference? I have found this link listing cancer hospitals in England but I'm sure there's a more extensive one that can be found on the NHS website somewhere (I live in Wales)

If you would like any assistance with contacting these (which lists email adds), please let me know and myself and my partner will get to work straight away. Am happy to send you a draft of the letter my partner has put together should you wish to see this.

Many thanks

<description>I notice there are no doctors speaking about MS.
Would love to encourage my daughter's neuro to attend, but agenda seems a bit light weight.
